What I Do

One senior creative. Zero layers.

Every engagement starts with me and pulls in trusted specialists from the BEHUMAN network when the work calls for them. Every engagement also addresses the AI question — where it earns its keep in your business, and where it should stay far from the work that should come from a human.

Offer 01

Fractional Creative Director

Your senior creative lead — a few days a month, or however many days or weeks the budget provides and the scope requires. I own the campaign vision, direct the work, and manage the craft — across film, brand, and everything your marketing ships. When production scales, I bring the crew I've directed for two decades.

Ongoing · Monthly
Offer 02

Campaign / Film Direction

A scoped engagement around one campaign or production. Concept to delivery: creative platform, scripts, boards, casting, direction on set, and supervision through the final cut and color. One director accountable for the whole thing.

Per project · Fixed scope
Offer 03

Brand & Story Strategy

The StoryBrand-driven strategy work — Hero Audits, messaging rebuilds, and story sprints. For companies whose product outruns their message. Often the front door to the bigger creative work.

The Anti-Agency Agency

All of the craft. None of the theater.

Traditional agencies bill you for the building, the account team, the strategy deck about the strategy deck, and the junior staff learning on your dime. BEHUMAN works the other way: you get the director — the person who creates the vision, and pulls the right team together to execute — assembled per project, then dissolved. No retainer bloat. No handoffs. No theater.

01

You talk to the maker

No account managers translating your notes. The person in the room is the person directing the work.

02

Senior-only crew

Every specialist is someone I've shipped real work with. Nobody learns on your budget.

03

Built per project

The team is sized to the brief — then it goes away. You pay for work, not overhead.

Agencies are built for production scale, and we work with them happily. BEHUMAN is built for the layer above: the creative direction that makes everything they produce land harder.

For Ongoing Clients

Agency-of-record coverage. Anti-agency economics.

For clients who need creative output month after month, BEHUMAN runs like an agency of record: one accountable creative lead, a standing relationship, and campaigns that ship on a calendar. The structure underneath is what's different — and it's why your budget goes further.

01

One accountable lead

A single senior creative who owns your brand's vision across every campaign, every deliverable, every quarter. No rotating account teams. No re-explaining your business to someone new each season.

02

A network, sized to the budget

Senior marketers, designers, filmmakers, and media specialists from the BEHUMAN network — assembled around your scope, then released when the campaign ships. You get the highest-quality work your budget can buy because none of it is paying for a building.

03

Dollars on the field

Overhead stays near zero, so the budget goes into the work itself. Every campaign is built with ROAS in mind — creative designed to convert, not just to win awards. How the spend gets placed is scoped per client. Your dollars buy craft that earns its keep.

About

A director, not a department.

I'm Mitch Williams — a fractional creative director with a film brain and a story spine.

For 21+ years I've directed commercial film and campaign work — from first storyboard to final color — for Nike, Disney, Pixar, Coca-Cola, Sony Music, Ford, Lexus, Stoke Space, and a long list of companies you've never heard of who deserved work as good as the ones you have.

I came up through film and software design. Both crafts live or die on the same thing: empathizing with the human on the other side. A film only works if it connects with its audience. A campaign only works if it makes someone feel something on the other end of a screen. Two industries. One craft.

BEHUMAN is the practice I built around that craft — the Anti-Agency Agency. You hire the director, not the org chart. When the work needs a crew, I bring the specialists I've shipped with for two decades. When it doesn't, you're not paying for them.

And on AI: I'm not against it. I help businesses figure out where to deploy it to solve real problems — and where to keep it far from the work that should come from a human. The craft stays human. The operations get smarter.
